Brain-Based Chiropractic Care
We Help You Thrive by Optimizing How Your Brain Functions
Synaptic Chiropractic offers brain-based chiropractic care to adults and children experiencing physical pain and struggling with anxiety, depression, fatigue, poor concentration, insomnia, digestive problems, stress management, allergies, accelerated aging and many other symptoms. Based on scientific research that links targeted chiropractic adjustments to the central nervous system’s processing of pain, brain-based chiropractic care offers a pathway to relief for many.
Using a handheld instrument called an ArthoStim that delivers gentle pulsing motion at varying frequencies, Synaptic Chiropractic’s Dr. Ella Coffren stimulates different parts of the body that correspond to specific parts of the brain. Over time, these light force adjustments can change how the brain functions and responds to external physical and emotional stressors.
Patients at Synaptic Chiropractic frequently report a reduction of physical pain, improved emotional well-being, a decrease in anxiety and better sleep. Learn more about the results our patients experience by reading our testimonials.
How It Works
Dr. Ella Coffren (known as Dr. Ella to her patients) utilizes the Stress Response Examination to understand how and when your brain is communicating with the rest of your body. This initial exam helps identify “bad brain habits” that are linked to a decrease in overall health and function. Your brain may develop these response patterns long before symptoms arise. Based on the results of the Stress Response Exam, Dr. Ella performs adjustments that are light force, instrument-assisted and specific. There is no popping, twisting or snapping.
Adjusting in certain, specific areas with the right type of stimulation improves feedback to the brain. Our adjustments are tailored to stimulate the nerves in your body to teach them new neurological pathways – new “good brain habits” – so that health is restored. These adjustments are safe and effective for everyone, regardless of age. By improving brain function, we can address current health issues and prevent symptoms from arising all together.
